Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program 2027 | Fully Funded Graduate Scholarship at Stanford University, USA
Stanford University
The Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program 2027 is one of the world's most prestigious fully funded graduate scholarship and leadership programs hosted by Stanford University in the United States. The program is designed to develop a new generation of ethical, visionary, and collaborative leaders who are committed to addressing complex global challenges through innovation, interdisciplinary learning, and public impact. Knight-Hennessy Scholars welcomes outstanding applicants from all countries, all academic disciplines, and all professional backgrounds. There are no restrictions based on nationality, field of study, career aspiration, or age beyond the published eligibility rules. Every scholar must be admitted to an eligible full-time Stanford graduate degree program before joining Knight-Hennessy Scholars. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support for up to three years of graduate study, including tuition, living expenses, academic costs, and travel. Beyond financial support, scholars participate in leadership development programs, workshops, mentorship, global networking events, experiential learning opportunities, and multidisciplinary collaborations designed to prepare them for leadership roles across government, business, science, technology, healthcare, education, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit organizations. Unlike traditional scholarships that primarily recognize academic achievement, Knight-Hennessy Scholars evaluates applicants through a holistic admissions process that emphasizes independence of thought, purposeful leadership, and civic mindset. Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate intellectual curiosity, resilience, creativity, integrity, and a commitment to creating positive change in their communities and around the world. Students admitted to the program become part of a vibrant interdisciplinary community at Stanford University, where they interact with peers representing dozens of nationalities, cultures, academic disciplines, and professional experiences. This unique environment encourages collaboration across fields while helping scholars build lifelong professional relationships. Applicants must submit two separate applications: One application to Knight-Hennessy Scholars. One application to an eligible full-time Stanford graduate degree program. Both applications are reviewed independently, and admission to Knight-Hennessy Scholars does not replace the admission process for Stanford graduate programs.
