€39,220Graduate Research School Scholarships (UQGRSS), including the Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP), provide competitive funding for high-quality postgraduate research students at The University of Queensland (UQ) in Australia. The scholarship is available to domestic and international students undertaking eligible Higher Degree by Research (HDR) programs, including the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Master of Philosophy (MPhil), and eligible research-focused professional doctorates. The scholarship provides a tax-free living stipend of AUD 39,220 per year at the 2026 rate, indexed annually, together with tuition fee support and Single Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for eligible international students. The standard scholarship duration is 3.5 years, with the possibility of one extension in accordance with UQ and RTP scholarship policies. Applicants are assessed competitively based on academic performance, research capability, the quality of the proposed research project and the quality of the proposed research environment and supervisory team. Applicants normally begin by submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) for their preferred UQ research program and identifying a suitable supervisor. A separate scholarship application is not required for this scholarship. Yenching Academy of Peking University 2027 | Fully Funded Master's Scholarship in China
UnpaidYenching Academy of Peking University offers a fully funded, English-taught two-year Master's program in China Studies for outstanding international students. The program combines interdisciplinary academic study, research, field study, leadership development, and cross-cultural exchange at Peking University in Beijing. Students can develop their own academic path across six research areas: Philosophy and Religion; Economics and Management; Law and Society; Politics and International Relations; Literature and Culture; and History and Archaeology. For the 2027 cohort, applications from international candidates open on September 1, 2026, and close on November 30, 2026, at 9:00 AM Beijing time. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport and must hold a Bachelor's degree in any field, or be currently completing a Bachelor's degree with an expected graduation by August 2027. The Academy looks for applicants with outstanding academic records, a strong interest in interdisciplinary study of China, extracurricular or community achievements, social responsibility, leadership potential, and English proficiency. The Yenching Fellowship covers tuition fees, accommodation, a monthly stipend, one round-trip travel fare between the scholar's base city and Beijing, and field study costs. All admitted students receive the fellowship for the first academic year. Students who maintain good academic standing and meet the conditions for the second year may apply for the second-year Yenching Fellowship.

Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) 2027
UnpaidThe Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) 2027 is a fully funded graduate scholarship program for eligible citizens of selected developing countries who have relevant professional experience and are committed to contributing to the development of their home countries. The program supports eligible applicants pursuing a Master's degree in a development-related field through one of the official JJ/WBGSP Participating Master's Programs. For 2027, the program offers scholarships for 44 participating Master's programs across 24 universities. Applicants must first obtain unconditional admission, except for financing, to at least one eligible participating Master's program located outside their country of citizenship and country of residence. They must also meet the JJ/WBGSP eligibility requirements and be shortlisted by the participating university before receiving access to the scholarship application form. The scholarship provides tuition, a monthly living allowance, round-trip economy-class airfare, basic medical insurance obtained through the university, and a US$600 travel allowance for each eligible trip. The scholarship normally covers the duration of the graduate program or a maximum of two years, whichever is shorter. After completing their degree, developing-country scholars are expected to return to their home country and use their new skills to contribute to social and economic development. Afghanistan is included in the official 2027 list of eligible countries.

Clarendon Scholarship 2027–2028 at the University of Oxford | Fully Funded
UnpaidClarendon Scholarship 2027–2028 is a fully funded graduate scholarship at the University of Oxford for outstanding international and UK applicants applying to eligible new Master’s and DPhil (PhD) courses. The scholarship is open to applicants from all nationalities and academic subject areas, with no nationality, ordinary residence, or field-of-study restrictions. Clarendon scholars receive full coverage of course fees for the period of fee liability and an annual grant for living expenses. For full-time scholars, the living-cost grant is at least the UKRI minimum doctoral stipend rate; the currently published amount for 2025–26 is £20,780 per year, while the amount for 2027–28 may be updated by Oxford. There is no separate application form for the Clarendon Scholarship. Applicants must apply for an eligible new Master’s or DPhil course at Oxford by the relevant December or January admissions deadline for their chosen course. Eligible applicants who meet the relevant deadline are automatically considered for Clarendon funding.
