The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) 2027 is a fully funded graduate scholarship program for eligible citizens of selected developing countries who have relevant professional experience and are committed to contributing to the development of their home countries. 2027 Application Windows: JJ/WBGSP 2027 has two application windows: January 18–February 26, 2027 and March 29–May 21, 2027. The applicable window depends on the participating Master's program.
Admission Required Before Scholarship Application: Applicants must first obtain unconditional admission, except for financing, to at least one participating JJ/WBGSP Master's program. The admission must be for the upcoming academic year and the program must be outside the applicant's country of citizenship and country of residence.
No Direct Application Link for Everyone: The JJ/WBGSP scholarship application form is not publicly available to every applicant. The World Bank communicates the application link to candidates who have been unconditionally admitted, except for financing, to a participating program and shortlisted as eligible by the participating university.
Scholarship Duration: The scholarship covers the duration of the graduate program or two years, whichever is shorter.

Who can apply
Eligible Developing-Country Nationals: Citizens of countries included in the official 2027 JJ/WBGSP eligible-country list may apply, provided they satisfy all other program requirements. Afghanistan is included in the 2027 eligible-country list. Applicants must not hold dual citizenship of any developed country.
Bachelor's Degree: Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent earned at least three years before the scholarship application deadline.
Professional Experience: Applicants must be employed in development-related work in a paid full-time position when submitting the scholarship application and must have at least three years of paid development-related employment after earning their bachelor's degree, acquired within the six years preceding the application deadline. Special consideration is provided for applicants from countries listed as Fragile and Conflict States because of limited employment opportunities.
Participating Master's Admission: Applicants must be admitted unconditionally, except for financing, to at least one eligible JJ/WBGSP participating Master's program outside their country of citizenship and country of residence. The admission letter must be uploaded with the scholarship application.
World Bank Group Relationship Restriction: Applicants cannot be World Bank Group Executive Directors, alternates, staff members of any appointment type, or close relatives of the specified World Bank Group personnel as defined by the program.

Applicants must be a citizen of an eligible developing country listed by the World Bank. Afghanistan is included in the 2027 eligible-country list.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) earned at least 3 years before the scholarship application deadline.
Applicants must have at least 3 years of paid development-related work experience acquired within the 6 years preceding the scholarship application deadline.
Applicants must be employed full-time in development-related work at the time of applying for the scholarship.
Applicants must have unconditional admission, except for financing, to an eligible participating Master’s program at a university outside their country of citizenship and country of residence.
The selected Master’s program must be one of the JJ/WBGSP participating programs for the relevant application cycle.
Applicants must meet all admission requirements of the selected university and Master’s program, including any applicable English-language requirements.
Applicants must not be a World Bank Group Executive Director, alternate, or staff member, or a close relative of such a person, subject to the program’s eligibility restrictions.
Applicants who previously declined a JJ/WBGSP scholarship or received a JJ/WBGSP scholarship but did not graduate are not eligible.
Scholars are expected to return to their home country after completing the Master’s program and contribute to their country’s development.
There is no general minimum GPA or maximum age requirement specified by JJ/WBGSP itself; however, applicants must satisfy the academic requirements of their selected participating Master’s program.
The program gives special consideration to applicants from Fragile and Conflict-Affected States, where applicable.

Clarendon Scholarship 2027–2028 at the University of Oxford | Fully Funded

Clarendon Scholarship 2027–2028 is a fully funded graduate scholarship at the University of Oxford for outstanding international and UK applicants applying to eligible new Master’s and DPhil (PhD) courses.
