Clarendon Scholarship 2027–2028 at the University of Oxford | Fully Funded
University of Oxford
Clarendon Scholarship 2027–2028 is a fully funded graduate scholarship at the University of Oxford for outstanding international and UK applicants applying to eligible new Master’s and DPhil (PhD) courses. The scholarship is open to applicants from all nationalities and academic subject areas, with no nationality, ordinary residence, or field-of-study restrictions. Clarendon scholars receive full coverage of course fees for the period of fee liability and an annual grant for living expenses. For full-time scholars, the living-cost grant is at least the UKRI minimum doctoral stipend rate; the currently published amount for 2025–26 is £20,780 per year, while the amount for 2027–28 may be updated by Oxford. There is no separate application form for the Clarendon Scholarship. Applicants must apply for an eligible new Master’s or DPhil course at Oxford by the relevant December or January admissions deadline for their chosen course. Eligible applicants who meet the relevant deadline are automatically considered for Clarendon funding. Selection considers outstanding academic merit and potential, academic reasons for choosing the proposed course, potential impact in the field, and motivation to contribute to the Oxford academic community. The exact admission requirements, English-language requirements, supporting documents, and course duration depend on the specific Oxford graduate course selected.
