The DAAD Study Scholarships – Master Studies for All Academic Disciplines provide international graduates with the opportunity to pursue a Master's degree at a state or state-recognised university in Germany. Funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, the programme supports students from all academic disciplines who wish to continue their postgraduate education in Germany. The scholarship is available for full Master's degree programmes or for one year of study in Germany as part of a Master's programme at the applicant's home university, provided the credits earned are recognised. Funding is available for programmes starting in the Winter Semester 2027 and lasts between 10 and 24 months, depending on the chosen programme. Successful applicants receive a monthly stipend of €992, health, accident and personal liability insurance, travel support, an annual study allowance of €460, and may also be eligible for additional benefits such as rent subsidies, family allowances, and German language courses. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree before the funding period begins and meet the admission and language requirements of their selected programme in Germany.
