The Chevening Scholarship is the UK government's flagship international awards programme, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations. It offers outstanding emerging leaders, influencers, and decision-makers from around the world the opportunity to pursue a fully funded, one-year full-time taught master's degree at any UK university, in any subject. Beyond academics, Chevening builds a global network of change-makers: since its founding, the programme has produced more than 60,000 alumni across 160+ countries, many of whom go on to hold senior roles in government, business, civil society, and academia. Scholars gain not only a UK qualification but lifelong access to an exclusive professional network and ongoing engagement opportunities with UK missions worldwide.
